Aaron Paul, famous for his role as Jesse Pinkman in Breaking Bad, nearly appeared in Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy but missed the chance due to scheduling conflicts.
Long before Paul became the troubled outlaw on television, he was close to joining Nolan’s world of masked vigilantes and complex moral themes. During a conversation about another project, Paul learned he had been considered for a very small role in one of Nolan’s Batman films.
The role was so minor that Paul barely remembered the offer until much later. The timing, however, did not favor him, as he was already committed to another project and could not participate.
“I sat down with Christopher Nolan on another project years ago. I was literally shooting something else at the time, so I couldn’t do it. It was a tiny, tiny, tiny role.”
Paul expressed a simple desire: to be part of Nolan’s universe, even if in a small way.
