The campaign, called "Go Outside and Play," features a series of public service announcements that encourage kids to get outside and be active.

"We want to help kids understand the importance of physical activity and how it can improve their health and well-being," said Peggy Conlon, president and CEO of the Ad Council.

The campaign is being supported by a number of prominent sponsors, including the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Heart Association, and the National Recreation and Park Association.

"We are excited to be a part of this campaign and to help promote the importance of physical activity among kids," said Dr. Robert Block, past president of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

As part of the campaign, the Ad Council has also developed a number of educational resources for parents and educators, including a website and a series of posters and flyers.
