Airdrie drivers traveling to Calgary should be aware that the Calgary Police Service will deploy photo radar throughout November 2025 in various neighbourhoods. The focus areas for enforcement include Albert Park/Radisson Heights, Capitol Hill, Coventry Hills, Crestmont, Falconridge, Glendale, Glengarry, Killarney, McKenzie Lake, McKenzie Towne, Mount Pleasant, Parkland, Penbrooke Meadows, Pump Hill, Ramsay, Renfrew, Shaganappi, Shawnessy, and West Hillhurst.
Photo-radar vehicles will also be stationed in active construction zones where workers are present, aiming to enhance safety. Additionally, there are 57 Intersection Safety Camera sites across Calgary that monitor red-light violations. Five of these cameras also issue tickets to drivers who speed through green lights.
