Mel Tracina reveals if Big Brother Uncut is making a comeback

Mel Tracina Discusses Big Brother Uncut’s Return

Channel 10 is bringing back the feel of the early 2000s with the new season of Big Brother. The show has returned to its original location at Dreamworld, where the first 11 seasons were filmed between 2001 and 2014.

“The Big Brother house is synonymous with Dreamworld, so bringing the OG format to its OG location feels right,”

said Mel Tracina, the new host and Nova radio personality.

Return to Classic Format

Big Brother will go back to basics with live nominations and live evictions. However, Tracina confirmed there will be no adults-only late-night version this year.

“This year there’s no return of Big Brother Up Late (or Uncut),” Tracina said. “We’re keeping it PG.”

Viewers will have access to a 24/7 live stream showing all the house action, but it will be carefully moderated to meet broadcast standards.

Audience Reaction

This decision may disappoint Gen X and Millennial fans who fondly remember sneaking peeks at the uncut version for its more risqué content and late-night conversations.

Author's summary: Big Brother returns to its original Dreamworld home with a classic format, but the adults-only "Uncut" version will not be revived this season, keeping content family-friendly.
