The comedian Alan Carr, 49, soared to victory on the show “Celebrity Traitors” after a tense final on Thursday night, successfully concealing his Traitor identity from the Faithful contestants.
Following the episode, on the show’s spin-off “Uncloaked,” Alan publicly apologized to his friend Paloma Faith, 44, after dramatically “murdering” her on screen.
Appearing alongside the star-studded cast, Alan confessed to feeling deep remorse for deceiving his friends, especially for eliminating close friend Paloma. He chose the pregnant singer as his first victim by pretending to touch her face with pollen from a fake poisoned lily, which left her visibly furious at the betrayal.
Alan Carr said, "The thing is, when I killed Paloma I felt sick inside. And you've got to remember, it was such a cruel twist to touch someone's face."
He defended himself to host Ed Gamble, explaining he felt "awful" and insisted he had no choice but to pick Paloma as his target.
Alan Carr won “Celebrity Traitors” but openly expressed guilt and apologized for deceiving and eliminating his close friend Paloma Faith, showing the emotional toll of the game.
