Man Collapses Behind Trump During Oval Office Announcement
During a press conference in the Oval Office on Thursday, a man fainted behind President Donald Trump while he was announcing a new agreement with pharmaceutical companies to expand Medicare coverage and reduce prices for the weight-loss drugs Zepbound and Wegovy.
Officials immediately came to the man’s aid, and the press was escorted out. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz helped lower the man to the floor and supported his head. The cause of the collapse remains unknown.
