Celebrity Traitors' Alan Carr calls fellow contestants ‘thick’ for this jarring reason

Alan Carr Calls Fellow Celebrity Traitors Contestants ‘Thick’

Alan Carr stirred controversy after describing his fellow participants on the BBC show Celebrity Traitors as “thick”. None of them managed to suspect that he had been secretly eliminating them throughout the series.

The comedian recently traveled to Florida ahead of the show’s finale. Reflecting on his role, he joked about his public image after targeting beloved figures like Celia Imrie and his friend Paloma Faith.

“That’s why I’m in America. I’m the most hated man in Britain,”

he told Heart Radio while taking his niece and nephew to Universal Studios in Orlando.

Alan admitted he was surprised that his friends didn’t guess he was a Traitor earlier.

“I’ve got loads of celebrity friends, but are they thick? I’m giggling when people are murdered. When they don’t come down for breakfast, I just stick cheese in my mouth.”

The 49-year-old comedian confessed that playing a TV villain was both enjoyable and tiring.

“It’s stressful murdering every day… but I’m getting a taste for it.”

Reactions from Fellow Contestants

Cat Burns, 25, said she’s coping with newfound fame by keeping a low profile.

“I’ve mainly just been staying at home,”

she told The Times, calling the experience “a bit mad.”

Recently eliminated contestant Kate Garraway shared her prediction for the finale on BBC Radio Two.

“I think he’s going to win. I’m going to say it now.”

She added that Alan’s spontaneous laughter during challenges could be what helped him survive elimination.
