On Wednesday, October 29th, the Martin Scorsese Virtual Production Center at NYU Tisch hosted Martin Scorsese and his daughter Francesca Scorsese for a special event marking a new collaboration with the Italian coffee brand Lavazza. The celebration introduced a new café within the Center, located at Industry City.
The event gathered alumni, current students, and invited guests to honor Lavazza’s partnership with the Center. Martin Scorsese, Tisch Dean’s Council member and distinguished alumnus, attended alongside Francesca Scorsese, a recent graduate of the Kanbar Institute of Film & TV.
During the event, Scorsese reflected on the cultural and creative role of coffee shops throughout his youth and artistic journey.

Francesca later shared a heartwarming moment with her father in the new café on her Instagram account.
