Star Trek, the ultimate frontier for many fans, joins the LEGO universe this month with the release of the LEGO Icons 10356 U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D from Star Trek: The Next Generation. The 3,600-piece model will launch on Black Friday, November 28, as part of LEGO's Icons series.
This impressive model was created by designer Hans B. Schlömer, known for his work on the Millennium Falcon and Endeavor sets. Graphic designer Crystal Marie Fontan contributed the visual design, capturing the essence of the show’s crew with nine detailed minifigures.
The display model includes one interactive feature—a removable saucer section. It also debuts new molded headpieces for characters such as Worf and Guinan, marking the first time Star Trek minifigures appear in official LEGO form.
When the set launches on Black Friday, buyers will receive an exclusive Gift With Purchase: the Shuttlepod Onizuka and a minifigure of Ensign Ro. Early leaked photos hinted at the design, but new lifestyle images reveal the true scale and craftsmanship of the model.
