Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Cam Little made history Sunday by hitting a 68-yard field goal against the Las Vegas Raiders, surpassing Justin Tucker’s previous record by two yards. The remarkable kick came just before halftime and immediately caught the football world’s attention.
Little wasn’t done impressing. With only 16 seconds left in regulation, he nailed a 48-yard field goal to tie the game at 23 and send it into overtime. Once the Jaguars scored a touchdown on their first possession of the extra period, Little sealed the victory with a clean extra point, giving Jacksonville a 30–29 win after the Raiders failed a two-point conversion attempt.
It was a flawless outing for Little, who went 3-for-3 on both field goals and extra points. Replays of his record-setting 68-yarder showed that the kick could have cleared the goalposts from at least five more yards out. The shot from the left hash gave the Jaguars their first points of the game, narrowing the Raiders’ lead to 6–3 by halftime.
