Michael Bublé Says This Store-Bought Holiday Side Is Better Than Homemade

In a recent conversation with Allrecipes, singer Michael Bublé shared some of his thoughts on traditional holiday foods while playing a game of “Underrated or Overrated?”. The Grammy-winning artist didn’t hold back when revealing which dishes steal the show on his festive table.

Bublé described one Thanksgiving classic as “completely underrated” — the humble store-bought stuffing. It turns out he prefers it even to homemade or restaurant versions, which came as a surprise to many fans.

“Completely underrated,” said Bublé when asked about stuffing.

During the same chat, Bublé also spoke about his other seasonal favorites. Mashed potatoes topped with either his mother’s or his wife’s gravy are always on his menu, as well as rich eggnog — whether in coffee or his favorite French toast. As for dessert, pumpkin pie remains his top choice, calling it his “favorite all-time pie.”

“Completely overrated. I don’t want any of that,”

he joked when referring to green bean casserole, leaving no doubt about where he stands on that divisive dish.

Though his culinary preferences are simple, Bublé’s passion for creating a warm, musical holiday atmosphere remains as timeless as the crooners who inspire him — Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Tony Bennett.
