Unfiltered Truth Behind Divorcee at Center of Trans Gym Showdown

Alexis Black, a 32-year-old transgender woman from Los Angeles, gained national attention following a confrontation at Gold's Gym in Beverly Hills. On Sunday, singer Tish Hyman shouted at Black in front of gymgoers, expressing outrage over her use of the women's changing rooms.

"Grown men with big d**ks [are] in the women's locker room. And I want to make sure the girls know," Hyman yelled as she was being removed from the gym.

Black, who previously went by Grant Freeman, said she felt disrespected by the encounter but noted this was not the first time Hyman had confronted her. She explained she began hormonal transition in February, shortly before moving to Los Angeles.

A divorcee originally from Ohio, Black has been using the women's changing rooms since starting estrogen and progesterone treatments. Open about her transition, she has spoken with several women in the locker rooms while working out at Gold's Gym, now owned by EoS Fitness.
