American singer Tish Hyman stated that her membership at a Gold’s Gym in Los Angeles was terminated after she confronted a man allegedly entering the women’s locker room. The 42-year-old artist shared a video of the incident and expressed frustration over what she described as ongoing inaction by gym staff.
“I have repeatedly filed written reports about this man entering our women’s locker room and harassing us, but the gym staff has done absolutely nothing!” Hyman wrote.
“He has disrespected me multiple times, and I was ignored when I quietly reported it. But today I made noise!”
According to her account, the altercation escalated when the man allegedly followed her into the locker room and insulted her. Hyman said she ran out shouting for help, which prompted other gym members and staff to intervene.
“I called for help and men in the gym got involved — thank God — and the staff finally decided to act,” she added.
The video shows the person in question dressed entirely in black and arguing with another individual before Hyman is heard yelling, “Now he knows how to be a man, right? Stay outta the women’s locker room! He needs to have his gym membership revoked for that!”
Hyman emphasized that this was not her first complaint about the same person. She alleged that despite earlier written reports, the gym failed to address her concerns, leading to the confrontation that reportedly cost her membership.
