North Lincolnshire Unites to Honour Armed Forces on Remembrance Sunday
North Lincolnshire will pay tribute to the service and sacrifice of its armed forces on Remembrance Sunday with a parade and remembrance service in Scunthorpe on Sunday, 9 November.
Event Details
- The parade will gather outside The Baths Hall starting at 10:10 a.m., with the procession beginning at 10:25 a.m.
- Participants can enjoy tea and coffee inside the venue from 9:30 a.m. or meet outside from 10:00 a.m.
- The parade, featuring serving personnel, veterans, military organizations, and uniformed groups, will march along Doncaster Road to the Cenotaph outside North Lincolnshire Museum.
- The remembrance service will start at 10:45 a.m. with an Act of Remembrance, followed by a two-minute silence at 11 a.m. and wreath laying.
- Afterward, the parade will return to The Baths Hall via Vicarage Gardens.
- Those attending are invited to The Baths Hall for refreshments and reflection after the service.
