The Lexington Police Department confirmed a man died following a shooting on Centre Parkway Friday afternoon. The Fayette County Coroner pronounced the victim dead at a local hospital.
Police responded to a shooting call around 3 p.m. in the 1100 block of Centre Parkway. Upon arrival, officers found a man with critical gunshot wounds who was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
