Actor Russell Crowe has opened up about his impressive 57-pound weight loss, achieved through significant lifestyle changes involving diet, exercise, and medical wellness support.
During his appearance on “The Joe Rogan Experience” on November 5, the 61-year-old actor revealed that his weight dropped from 126 kilograms (277 pounds) to 100.9 kilograms (222 pounds) after completing the film Nuremberg.
“I was 126 kilos [277 lbs.] when I finished Nuremberg,” Crowe said. “I’m 100.9 [kilos, or 222.4 lbs.] now.”
Crowe credited improved nutrition, reduced alcohol consumption, and physical training as his main tools for shedding weight and rebuilding muscle. He also joined a wellness platform called Ways2Well, introduced by host Joe Rogan, which offers bloodwork analysis, hormone and peptide therapies, and stem cell treatments aimed at overall body health.
The actor explained that years of demanding film roles have left him with lasting injuries. Through specialized injections and IV treatments from Ways2Well, he noted a marked reduction in inflammation and improvement in his joints.
“I’m not really across the science, but the real benefit I’m getting from these into my shoulders, my knees, and also IVs, is that it’s calmed down my body’s inflammation,” he said.
“A year ago I had big thick bands of arthritis in my shoulders, but now it’s lessened by about 70 percent. On one area in my right shoulder, probably by about 90 percent.”
Crowe’s story reflects a focused commitment to physical recovery and well-being, combining modern therapies with disciplined lifestyle choices to achieve lasting results.
