'Therapuss' Host Jake Shane to Star in New Hulu Comedy Series
Jake Shane, best known for his podcast Therapuss with Jake Shane, is set to make his television debut in a Hulu comedy inspired by his real life. The 26-year-old influencer will play himself in the series, which explores the ups and downs of internet fame and its impact on friendships and suburban life.

Shane shared the news on Instagram, alongside photos with his creative team, including Genevieve Aniello from Hacks and High Potential, executive producer Alec Berg of Barry and Silicon Valley fame, and director Paul Briganti. Amy Solomon will join them as a producing partner. The project is being developed by 20th Television.
