Set within the strained dynamics of a Chinese American community, Rosemead offers a compelling depiction of a family on the brink. The film marks the feature directorial debut of cinematographer and filmmaker Eric Lin, who previously worked on several short films and as a director of photography on numerous independent projects. The screenplay was written by Marilyn Fu and produced by Mynette Louie and Andrew D.
The film premiered at the 2025 Tribeca Film Festival and will be released by Vertical in select U.S. theaters starting December 5, 2025.
