Top 20 EV Models in September 2025
The Proton eMas 7 leads as the best-selling electric vehicle in Malaysia for September 2025, followed by the Tesla Model Y and BYD Atto 3.
According to the latest data from the road transport department (JPJ), 757 units of the eMas 7 were registered in September, a slight dip from the 766 units sold in August.
In terms of year-to-date numbers, the eMas 7 stands well clear of the pack, with 6,212 units sold in the first nine months of the year.
The Proton eMas 7 continues its run as the best-selling electric vehicle in Malaysia.
