Emmanuel Joseph Bacosa Pacquiao, known as Eman, is making a name for himself in the boxing world. He impressed many with his record of seven wins, no losses, one draw, and four knockouts during the event "Thrilla in Manila 2," organized to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the legendary Muhammad Ali vs. Joe Frazier fight in the Philippines.
Born in 2004, Eman is the son of boxing legend Manny Pacquiao and Joanna Rose Bacosa. His parents met when Joanna worked as a waitress, and their relationship eventually led to Eman's birth.
Eman began boxing at the age of nine, inspired by his father’s career. The match that sparked his passion was Manny Pacquiao’s fight against Shane Mosley.
"Tapos 'yung nasubukan ko na po, parang napamahal na rin po 'yung boxing sa akin."
"I tried it, and from then on, it seemed like I also grew to love boxing."
To build his experience, Eman competed in a local match in Tagum, where he faced one of his school bullies. After three rounds, he won and earned P200, which he gave to his mother.
Eman Pacquiao combines natural talent and inspiration from his father to emerge as a promising young boxer with a strong start to his career.
