The Odyssey’s Elliot Page is glad to have the opportunity to work with Christopher Nolan again now that he’s his true self

The Odyssey’s Elliot Page on Reuniting with Christopher Nolan

Elliot Page expresses excitement about working again with Christopher Nolan on the upcoming film The Odyssey. Having previously collaborated on Nolan’s 2010 movie Inception, Page feels this new experience is richer now that he embraces his true self.

Reunion with Nolan

Page recalls the joy of being invited back to work with Nolan. At the time of Inception, he was presenting as female, but since coming out as a trans man in 2020, the collaboration carries deeper personal meaning.

“I was so excited to be thought of for it and to be asked to come back to work with him. I loved working with him on Inception and loved being a part of that movie. I was just completely jazzed and excited… It was of course a big 'Yes.'”

A More Comfortable Experience

Page emphasizes how being more comfortable in his identity makes the filmmaking journey more enjoyable. He values the chance to have another “Chris Nolan experience” with this new project.

“Being more comfortable in yourself makes these sorts of projects more enjoyable, just waking up every day and going to work… To kind of get to have a more Chris Nolan experience again now, that actually really meant so much to me.”

Filming and Anticipation

Page hints at exciting filming locations and calls the movie “extraordinary.”

“I got to go to some pretty awesome places. It’s going to be extraordinary.”

The Odyssey is scheduled for release on July 17, 2026.
