THE BIRD TRILOGY and HORSES Come To Soho Theatre

Edinburgh Comedy Award-nominated comedian and cult clown Elf Lyons brings two of her most celebrated shows to Soho Theatre's Main Theatre this winter after successful runs at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and beyond. Performances start in December 2025 and continue into January 2026.

The Bird Trilogy (12–20 December 2025)

In the critically acclaimed The Bird Trilogy, Lyons performs three shows: Swan, Chiffchaff, and Raven. This riotous trilogy explores the worlds of ballet, economics, and horror, all reimagined through Elf's unique blend of clowning, mime, and surreal theatre.

Horses (7–10 January 2026)

Following its 2025 Sky Arts Comedy Award win, Horses—created by Elf Lyons and performed by Treacle—arrives at Soho Theatre. It is the first comedy show performed entirely by a horse, celebrating the inner child and the boundless power of imagination.

Elf Lyons is an award-winning comedian, theatre maker, director, comedy writer, and voice artist. Known for her innovative work on the UK comedy and theatre scene, she has created immersive horror shows, musicals on economics, re-enacted classical ballets, and given lectures on Surrealism at venues like the Barbican.
