During a recent episode of I'm A Celebrity, Jack Osbourne became emotional while reflecting on the passing of his father, Ozzy Osbourne. This marked the first public discussion Jack has had about his father's death, having previously declined to answer questions on the subject before entering the jungle.
Jack confided in fellow campmate Lisa Riley about the shock of losing his dad. He said,
“It was definitely a shock, I mean we knew he was sick for a while but it was definitely a shock, I mean we didn’t know it would be that quick.”
He added,
“It was the ultimate mic drop, he did a massive big gig and was like, alright I’m done.”
Lisa comforted Jack as he became tearful while recalling the moment.
Ozzy Osbourne died in July, a few weeks after performing his final concert with Black Sabbath at Villa Park. His death was caused by a heart attack, following a long battle with Parkinson’s disease.
Jack believes his father would have fully supported him taking part in I'm A Celebrity. He shared,
“I’m still navigating it all, it’s been three nearly four months and so it’s still pretty fresh.”
This experience remains very raw for Jack as he continues to process his loss.
