Smash-and-Grab Robbery at West-End Toronto Jewelry Store
A jewelry store in a west-end Toronto mall was robbed by five masked suspects, according to police.
The incident occurred on Saturday evening, with police receiving reports at approximately 7:20 p.m. The suspects allegedly smashed display cases and stole merchandise, with at least two of them armed with hammers.
Video shared by Toronto lawyer Caryma Sa’d shows damaged display cases at a store inside Dufferin Mall, with officers having guns drawn while the crime scene is taped off.
Police are investigating the incident, which occurred at a store inside a mall on Dufferin St.
