Most Newcastle United fans, and supporters of other clubs, think that international breaks are unnecessary. There should be a law against them, as there are only so many uninteresting matches, like those against Latvia, that one can watch.
The author admits to loving certain sports, such as the Ryder Cup and the Masters, but has no interest in participating in golf or fishing.
I fully admit that I love the Ryder Cup and I love the Masters but I have never felt the urge to spend four hours in the long grass trying to locate my balls.
