Two Classic Stephen King Novels Get Standalone Hardcover Editions
Stephen King, under the pseudonym Richard Bachman, published several notable novels, with The Long Walk and The Running Man being among the best.
King has published roughly 65 novels, a dozen short story collections, and several book-length pieces of nonfiction. Most of his novels have been reissued in paperback, but they initially debut in hardcover.
Constant readers who have picked up the author's books at launch likely have multiple shelves filled with hardcover editions. However, even dedicated fans may be missing a few of his novels in hardcover.
Scribner, King's publisher, has released standalone hardcover editions of The Long Walk: A Novel and The Running Man: A Novel, filling gaps in many fans' collections.
