Parade organisers have been warned after Union Flags were flown from lamp posts in Musselburgh during a weekend event.
East Lothian Council received concerns from residents after flags were spotted along the High Street on Saturday. However, the flags had already been removed by the time council workers arrived.
The flags were part of the annual William Buchanan Memorial Parade, organised by Musselburgh True Defenders. They were taken down after the event.
A video of the march, with the flags visible in the background, was shared on the Scottish Bands Facebook page.
No official statement was given by the council or the parade organisers regarding the warning.
