Baptist Behavioral Health Center Employee Honored
Ashlynn Wenger, a recent recipient of the Baptist Award, shared her insights on her role at the Baptist Behavioral Health Center.
Ashlynn works in the children's unit at the Fannin location, addressing psychiatric issues among children aged six to 12.
"We deal with the psychiatric side of everything here at Baptist,"
she said, highlighting the challenges of managing behavioral, suicidal, and hallucinatory issues.
"To be able to help them in this very important stage of life, to be able to get a warm by doing that and feeling like my job, like it really means something and someone actually acknowledged that. So it's amazing,"
she expressed, emphasizing the significance of the recognition.
