Preserving Enterprise South Nature Park
As a lifelong resident, I urge caution in the decision to convert part of Enterprise South Nature Park (ESNP) to industry. ESNP is a treasure to Chattanooga and Hamilton County and deserves to be treated as such.
County Mayor Wamp and supporters of the plan should reconsider the land swap, as it is not a truthful solution. The county overspent on McDonald farm, which cannot sustain industrial development due to high costs.
- McDonald farm is not economically viable for industrial development.
- The TNT property, with existing rail infrastructure, remains undeveloped.
ESNP is a treasure to Chattanooga and Hamilton County and deserves to be treated as such.
