The United States has unveiled an unmanned version of the Black Hawk helicopter, the S-70UAS U-Hawk, at the Association of the United States Army's AUSA 2025 show.
According to The Aviationist, the U-Hawk features a loading platform with hinged doors in the front of the fuselage, and the absence of a cockpit has increased cargo volume by 25%.
The manufacturer can quickly and on a large scale convert conventional helicopters into drones - Rich Benton, Sikorsky vice president.
The U-Hawk can be used to carry various cargoes and launch small drones, and was developed in just ten months.
