Brave Farnham Town Suffer Heartbreaking FA Cup Defeat

Farnham Town exited the Emirates FA Cup with a 3-2 defeat at Sutton United in their fourth qualifying round replay.

Town led twice thanks to goals from Bobby-Joe Taylor and Owen Dean, but fell to a late defeat after extra time in front of 1,496 spectators at the VBS Community Stadium.

Sutton then went on the front foot, with Brandon Njoku driving forward on 22 minutes and hitting a low shot from just outside the box, which was well held by Town keeper Zaki Oualah.

Oualah was called into action again two minutes later when Jayden Harris hit a powerful strike towards goal, which was well held by Farnham’s keeper.
