The Grangeville men’s soccer team overcame challenges to secure a road win against St. Maries on October 11.
Despite a long day of travel and dealing with a changed field and game time, the team came out strong after a 7-0 loss to Bonners Ferry at home the day before.
“We began the match with an altered starting line-up with Colt McColloch in goal and Ryan Newson at holding mid,” explained head coach Jason Weber. “Freshman Lander Tackett got the starting nod at striker.”
The team's goals were scored by Lander Tackett, Noah Rodriguez, Colten Larsen, and freshman Kobe Nadiger, with Tackett and Nadiger achieving their first varsity scores.
