Ri-Bhoi Police Collects ₹3L in Traffic Fines
The Ri-Bhoi Police conducted an intensive vehicle checking drive on Wednesday night, collecting fines amounting to over ₹3 lakh within four hours.
The drive, which took place from 9 PM to 1 AM, is part of a series of operations aimed at enforcing traffic discipline. This follows two earlier drives led by SSP Vivekanand Singh Rathore, which collected fines worth ₹8 lakh and ₹10.5 lakh respectively.
The total fines collected during October 2025 now stand at over ₹25 lakh, marking one of the most successful road safety campaigns in the district's history.
