Nursing and University Health Services Help Children's Center Protect from the Flu

Boise State's University Health Services and the School of Nursing are partnering to offer a flu shot clinic on October 16 for the Children's Center.

The clinic aims to help keep the children and staff at the center healthy during the flu season. As the temperatures drop and leaves fall, the risk of catching colds or the flu increases.

The flu shot clinic will be available for the staff, enrolled children, and their families at the Children's Center. Pre-registration is encouraged through forms at the front desk, but same-day registration and walk-in slots are also available.

This year, University Health Services took on the responsibility of offering vaccination services, as the Public Health Response Team stepped back from this role.
