New sustainability club seeks to help Dickinson maintain its top-ranked reputation

New Sustainability Club at Dickinson

Alyssa Hafken ’28, an environmental science major, has formed a new club called the Sustainability Collective.

Hafken is involved in various sustainability initiatives, including the Dickinson Eco Rep Program, the Center for Sustainability Education (CSE) Steering Committee, and the environmental majors committee. She also serves as a student proctor for Access and Disability Services (ADS).

Her mother and grandmother inspire her to care for the Earth.

Hafken's goals for the club include raising awareness about areas where Dickinson can improve to maintain its top-ranked reputation as a sustainable school.
