Jubilee Hills Bypoll: Allegations of Voter Manipulation
The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) has alleged serious irregularities and illegal activities concerning voter manipulation in the Jubilee Hills constituency under the former BRS rule.
A delegation from the TPCC, including Ponnam Ashok Goud, met with the chief electoral officer and submitted a letter with their claims.
Under the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS, formerly TRS) government, there were unauthorised deletions, transfers and duplicate entries in the voter lists.
The Congress Party claims that they are being falsely blamed for the irregularities, and that vested interests are attempting to divert attention from the actual culprits.
