Breyette is charged with second-degree assault, leaving the scene of an accident, and tampering with physical evidence. The crash resulted in severe, life-altering injuries for Kropf.
The defense, presented by Attorney Jasper Mills, argued that Kropf was intoxicated and walked into the street with her back to traffic, giving Breyette insufficient time to react.
