A German museum has been overrun by Taylor Swift fans due to a painting that resembles a scene from her video "The Fate of Ophelia".
The Hessische Landesmuseum in Wiesbaden saw hundreds of additional visitors over the weekend, including a family from Hamburg and many American families stationed at a US base.
The visitors came to see an Art Nouveau painting by Friedrich Heyser featuring Ophelia, a character from William Shakespeare's play Hamlet.
"The Fate of Ophelia" is Swift's current No. 1 hit video
Museum spokesperson Susanne Hirschmann confirmed the surge in visitors to the Associated Press.
