SNCF Names Interim CEO as Farandou Turns to Politics

Laurent Trevisani was named interim CEO of SNCF after Jean-Pierre Farandou left to become minister of labor and solidarity in the new French government under Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu.

Trevisani, who has built his career at SNCF and served as the group’s deputy managing director of strategy and finance since 2016, will take the helm until a permanent successor is appointed, SNCF said in a statement.
