Apple Secures Exclusive US Formula 1 Rights
Apple has struck a five-year deal with Formula 1 to carry every race exclusively on Apple TV in the United States from 2026.
The deal covers practice, qualifying, Sprint sessions, and Grand Prix races, and is worth £558 million.
- Select races and all practice sessions will be available for free in the Apple TV app.
- Coverage will be amplified across Apple News, Maps, Music, and Fitness+.
- The Apple Sports app will offer live updates, leaderboards, standings, Live Activities, and a homescreen widget.
F1 TV Premium will continue in the US via an Apple TV subscription only and will be free for those who subscribe.
