A34 Updates: Huge 98-Metre-Long Wide Load in North Staffordshire
Police have been involved in the transportation of an abnormal load through North Staffordshire.
The load, which is currently paused at The Harvester near Trentham, will resume its journey towards Newcastle at 12:25hrs on the A34.
- It will pass through Stafford, Stone, and Newcastle.
- Motorists are advised to adjust their route if travelling through Stone, Newcastle, and Butt Lane.
- The load will go 'contraflow' after Walton island and then onto Darlaston, where it will rejoin the correct side as it heads to Newcastle.
