Silent Hill 2 Remake Sales Reach 2.5m Worldwide
Konami has revealed that its survival horror remake Silent Hill 2, developed by Bloober Team, has hit another big sales milestone.
As reported, Silent Hill 2 has now sold 2.5 million copies worldwide, including both digital and physical shipments, meaning the game has picked up another half a million sales since January this year.
Although Silent Hill 2 is still selling steadily for Konami, it wasn't able to match recent release Silent Hill f in initial sales, with the latter outpacing the remake significantly, racking up a million sales in a single day.
Silent Hill 2 has sold 2.5 million copies worldwide.
This milestone bodes well for the upcoming reimagining of the first game.
