No. 7 University earned a momentum victory over No. 5 Spring Mills, winning 35-28.
The game was tied at 28 with 57 seconds to go, but UHS senior Kayden Coles intercepted a pass from Spring Mills quarterback Rylan Swartz, setting up the go-ahead touchdown.
The Hawks scored from two yards away with senior Marcos Kniska and held on to seal the victory.
“Super proud of our guys for facing some adversity and persevering,”
UHS head coach Eric Snyder said. This win generates momentum for University heading into the final weeks of the regular season.
