The US Navy is holding two survivors of the latest airstrike in the Caribbean, which targeted an alleged drug trafficking boat.
According to reports, the airstrike on Thursday hit a semi-submersible vessel that was partially underwater, resulting in the death of at least one person on board.
The two survivors were recovered by a US military helicopter and are being kept on a Navy warship,
the first to survive the half dozen US strikes.
This latest attack comes two days after the fifth airstrike in the sea killed six people, bringing the total death toll since September to at least 28.
The survivors are being held on a Navy ship, as reported by multiple outlets, including Reuters and the Associated Press.
