Wyoming County's America250PA Bell Unveiled
Wyoming County has unveiled a custom-designed fiberglass bell sculpture to celebrate the 250th birthday of the United States.
The sculpture, created by artist Allison LaRussa, is part of America250PA's Bells Across PA initiative, which aims to place a bell in all 67 counties.
The Wright Center for Community Health: Tunkhannock sponsored the bell sculpture and will house it as the nation's 250th birthday approaches.
The unveiling ceremony took place outside the Wright Center medical complex on a cool and windy late afternoon, with many officials in attendance.
