TCU Senate Discusses Project Updates and Treasury Spending
The Tufts Community Union Senate shared project updates from each General Board Committee and reviewed Treasury spending on Sunday.
TCU Treasurer Brendan French, a junior, presented a budget overview, revealing that the Treasury has spent $163,148 so far this school year. The largest expenditure, $112,925, was for off-campus events.
We spend a lot when it comes to off-campus stuff, and that’s kind of just the nature of things. Travel is expensive whenever people travel off-campus.
TCU President Dhruv Sampat, a senior, also shared updates on an upcoming meeting with Tufts’ Athletic Director to discuss issues related to club sports, including gym size and financial barriers to participation.
