Crypto companies including Ripple, Coinbase, Tether, and Gemini are among key donors funding President Donald Trump's new White House ballroom project.
The crypto industry, a longtime backer of Trump, is supporting the $300 million, 90,000 sq. ballroom, announced in July and under construction since September 2025.
Major tech firms such as Apple, Google, and Microsoft are also contributing to the project, which will seat 650 people and replace part of the East Wing.
The new venue has sparked controversy over its scale and costs.
