DepEd Suspends Onsite Classes in Metro Manila Public Schools
The Department of Education (DepEd) has released an advisory enforcing alternative modes of learning and suspending in-person activities in all public schools across Metro Manila for two days, October 13 and 14.
This decision comes amidst rising cases of flu and recent earthquake threats. The DepEd has ordered all public schools in the National Capital Region (NCR) to conduct school-wide disinfection and inspect the structural integrity of buildings to reinforce public safety.
