European Half-Marathon Record Broken
Andreas Almgren set a new European half-marathon record with a time of 58:41 in Valencia.
Yomif Kejelcha won the men's race with a time of 58:02, while Agnes Ngetich won the women's race with a time of 63:08.
Almgren's time smashed Julien Wanders' European record of 59:13.
- Kejelcha's winning time fell short of Jacob Kiplimo's world record of 56:42.
- Ngetich's time was 16 seconds outside Letesenbet Gidey's world record of 62:52.
