The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Adamawa State has inaugurated a caretaker executive committee to manage the party's affairs until a new leadership is elected.
Presiding over the inauguration, North East Zonal Vice Chairman David Lawal Babachir stated that stakeholders formed the interim team to stabilize the party and prepare it for the 2027 general elections.
"The leadership you see today is legitimate because it followed due process in line with the party's constitution,"
Babachir said, noting that the new structure was approved by the National Working Committee (NWC) after consultation and compliance with the party's constitution.
